Research origin

The purpose of this research was to study the context of tourism in the multicultural area of the Death Railway. Study the behavior of tourists in specific groups with special interests traveling on the Death Railway. and design identity and development of creative cultural history tourism activities It was carried out in the form of Research and Development (R&D), using a mix method, qualitative research by questioning and interviewing the local population including academics experts in related fields and quantitative by using a questionnaire to collect data from a sample group of 400 tourists to analyze, synthesize, together with the integration of art, design and various theories in an appropriate format to create a creative tourism strategy model. 

The researcher has suggestions for applying the research results and suggestions for further research.
